Ben is Manuka Health’s CEO, entering the role after being the CFO for three years. Ben has extensive FMCG, corporate finance and strategy experience having worked at Deloitte (in Melbourne and London) for more than 10 years covering capital markets, valuations, private equity, mergers and acquisitions and strategy.
Most recently Ben was the M&A and Strategy Director at a large, branded FMCG food manufacturer in the UK (Burton’s Biscuits) building a reputation for creating and executing business wide transformational strategies and step-change performance.
Ben will lead Manuka Health as we embark on our next chapter of growth, delivering natural wellness products to more families and households around the world.
Harry Woods is Chief Commercial Officer at Manuka Health, specialising in global food industry sales. He previously worked at Fonterra for 14 years where he held a variety of international sales roles covering markets in South East Asia, Middle East, Africa and Europe.
Harry has built a reputation in the dairy industry for building and implementing successful market growth strategies, developing long term sustainable partnerships and leading highly engaged sales teams.
At Manuka Health Harry is responsible for developing the global sales strategies for our markets.
With an experienced sales team, and a world class customer service operation based in Te Awamutu, Harry strives to take Manuka Health to a global leadership position with the Manuka industry.
Kate Kember is Manuka Health’s General Manager, Marketing and Research & Development. Kate is an experienced, strategic marketer with more than 15 years’ marketing experience across B2B, Corporate and FMCG brands, holding global and local market roles.
Kate most recently held roles within Fonterra, across multiple areas of the business. She has an extensive range of skills including consumer, service and corporate brand development, corporate reputation and social responsibility programmes, leadership, culture and team development.
At Manuka Health Kate is leading the global marketing and product development programme, ensuring that the company continues to build an exceptional natural healthcare brand.
David Campbell is Manuka Health’s General Manager of Supply Chain. Previously our General Manager of Apiculture Operations where he built the number one Manuka honey production business in the country from scratch, Dave has more than 10 years’ agribusiness experience and has been a beekeeper for over 20 years. Dave is a also qualified Veterinary Scientist and a Nuffield Scholar. He is respected for his dairy sector achievements including developing and leading unique livestock performance strategies, management of multi-farm businesses and on-farm innovation.
At Manuka Health Dave oversees the entire operations and apiculture functions, ensuring we continue to source and produce the highest quality bee products with a strong focus on process improvement and agility to achieve excellence.
Ciaran Quinn is Manuka Health’s General Manager, Finance. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and has substantial consulting experience across merger and acquisition transactions, accounting, auditing and financial management having worked with PwC (in Ireland, USA and New Zealand) for 9 years.
Since joining Manuka Health in 2016, Ciaran has grown and developed the finance team, our systems and processes across finance and IT, including the implementation of a world class ERP system and refinancing the company’s debt package.
At Manuka Health Ciaran is responsible for Finance and IT, setting the strategic direction for these functions and ensuring the business has appropriate systems and processes in place to support our exciting growth trajectory.
Syntia is a strategic Senior HR Executive with extensive global experience within the FMCG, IT, and Telecommunication industries. She built her experience in multiple roles across Brazil, China, Singapore, APAC region and during the last 2yrs in working as the Head of People for Watties in New Zealand.
Syntia has worked closely with the Executive Leadership Team to influence the business growth through coaching and HR programs in place supporting the business to grow through clear and robust HR Strategy.
